Brishen Lewis-Weir

My name is Brishen Lewis-Weir. I am a Clinical Social Worker with a subspeciality in School Social Work. My area of focus is on treating children, pre-teens, and teens with diagnoses such as: depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral disorders to name a few.

I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. in 1998. In 2003, I received my graduate degree from Loyola University in Chicago, IL. Most of my employment has been in various school settings in inner city Chicago, Chicago suburbs, Indianapolis Public Schools and Washington Township Schools. I also have experience working in Juvenile Correctional Facilities in Indiana.

When I am not seeing clients I enjoy spending time with my daughter, shopping, exercising, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, travelling to warm locations, and watching my new kitten and puppy wrestle with each other.

My life motto is a term from one of my travels to Costa Rica…..Pure Vita!!! This terms means “pure life.” Basically it means enjoy life to its fullest, or “keep calm and carry on.”
