Dr. Leah Morton is a licensed clinical psychologist as well as a health service provider is psychology (HSPP). She maintains professional affiliations with the American Psychological Association, Postpartum Supports International, and the Indiana Perinatal Network. She received her graduate training at the University of Indianapolis where she obtained a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in 2009. She has had the opportunity to obtain clinical training in a variety of residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She especially enjoys working with men and women through all phases of parenthood including family planning, infertility, adoption, managing psychological health during pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety difficulties, and parenting skills.
Dr. Morton is available to provide individual and family counseling for older adolescents and adults to address a variety of psychological conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship conflict, and substance abuse. In addition, Dr. Morton provides a variety of psychological, personality, and intellectual testing services.
Dr. Morton is also available to provide family therapy for children and adolescents and their parents in order to improve parent-child relationships, reduce family conflict, improve child behavior compliance, and assist parents in developing their parenting skills.
Dr. Morton offers an eclectic approach to treatment that blends interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and insight oriented techniques.
